Talking Water Gardens

The Talking Waters Gardens is one-part conservation experiment and one-part community project. Here, the local waste water from area residences are treated, and more importantly, cooled, and provides a manmade nature preserve. As guests walk about, they will find a variety of local wildlife species, as well as plants, wetlands, and more. Eventually, the water feeds back into the Willamette River in an attempt to reduce water waste, as well as a unique way to give back to the environment.

Linn County Fairgrounds and Expo Center

The Linn County Fairgrounds and Expo Center is home to the annual county fair as well as many other exciting community events, expos, live entertainment, and other special gatherings. Attendees can find many different on-site venues, including an event center that is more than 48,000 square feet, an equally large theater space, livestock areas, and more. Enjoy a variety of local vendors and concessions, and ride your favorite carnival and fair rides.The county fair offers free admission to live concerts on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Historic Carousel & Museum

Since 2002, the local community and carousel enthusiasts have been hard at work developing and refining the Historic Carousel & Museum. This unique cultural attraction is sure to put a smile on your face. The Brass Ring, the hand carved, hand painted community carousel, has its grand opening this August. The adjoining museum explains the history of carousels, as well as helps educate why they are so popular all of these years later. If you enjoy unique area offerings, then this is a must-see for your trip.
